Massive congrats to our FTKEE (BTech in Industrial Electronic Automation) students for grabbing 3rd place in the choral speaking competition at last year's Higher Education English Language Carnival (ELCA)! This annual event gives higher education students the chance to use English outside the classroom, inspiring them to hone their skills and become confident communicators.
Hosted by Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) in collaboration with the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) and Public University Dean of Languages Council last December, ELCA saw students from all public universities across Malaysia compete fiercely in choral speaking, PSA videos, TikTok video creations, and public speaking.
And Team UMPSA stole the show! Their performance in the choral speaking category blew the judges away, earning them a well-deserved 3rd place finish. Let's give them a massive round of applause! Their success is an inspiration to us all, proving that UMPSA students are not only talented and dedicated, but also fierce competitors on the national stage.
