The sharing session by Associate Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Mohd Zamri Bin Ibrahim with more than 200 staff from the Salihin accounting firm at Residence Inn Cherating, Pahang on 11 December 2023. This session provides a positive impact to see how we can shape the future through creative and innovative thinking.
Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), in collaboration with Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) and IEEE Oceanic Engineering Society (OES) Malaysia Chapter for the second time organized this program with the concept of Underwater Robot Challenge which will last for two days.
A total of 21 teams consisting of secondary school and high school students participated in the Underwater Robot Challenge 2023 competition which took place at the Adab Academic Diving Center, UMPSA Pekan.

The Dronecubator program represents a collaborative effort between UMPSA and Futurise Sdn Bhd, a company under the Malaysian Ministry of Finance. This initiative serves as an industry collaboration with the objective of nurturing new talent and promoting exposure to drone sports technology.
Emphasizing the STEAM aspect of drones which encompasses various activities mainly:
1. Introduction to drone
2. Introduction to drone sports
3. Rules and regulations on drone
4. Hands-on drone building
5. Hands-on drone configuration
6. Hands-on drone maintenance
7. Hands-on drone Visual Line Of Sight (VLOS) flight
8. Hands-on drone First Person View (FPV) flight
9. Battery management
The inaugural session, conducted at UMPSA Gambang, involved 3 facilitators and 10 students on 25 & 26 November 2023. Subsequently, two more sessions are scheduled for UMPSA Pekan in January 2024, with a total of 50 students. The UMPSA Dronecubator program is overseen and managed by UMPSA Drone Research Network led by Ts. Dr. Mohammad Fadhil bin Abas from FTKEE, UMPSA.
University Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) has shown interest in setting up solar panels on their campuses. Recently, this new project on Photovoltaic (PV) Solar Panels has been installed in the Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technology UMPSA.
This leads to good impacts, not only to save energy costs but also contribute to the research on renewable energy.
