Seluruh warga FTKEE mengucapkan setinggi-tinggi tahniah dan syabas kepada Leftenan Muda (PA) Nurul Izzati binti Jusoh yang telah dinobatkan sebagai Pegawai Kadet Terbaik Kor SISPA UMPSA 2024 sempena Istiadat Pentauliahan Kor Siswa Siswi Pertahanan Awam Peringkat Kebangsaan Kali Ke-15 Tahun 2024.

This program was an offer made by the Vice Chancellor during the UMPSA Kembara Prihatin Program @ Cameron Highlands at the end of July to the school as an opportunity to expose and foster a learning interest among the students of SK Telanok.

This visit involved 30 students (15 boys, 15 girls) and 7 teachers. The students were taken on a tour of the facilities and amenities at FTKEE.

FTKEE UMPSA were honoured to welcome students from the following schools:
🎓 SMK Sultan Ahmad, Pekan
🎓 SM Sains Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah, Kuantan
🎓 SMK Alor Akar, Kuantan

To increase student enrollment in the UMPSA-HKA Germany Dual Degree programs, promotion and outreach need to be intensified, especially to high school students, so that information about the Dual Degree programs can be conveyed early, fostering their interest in joining these programs.
The UMPSA-HKA Germany Dual Degree program is the only program of its kind offered in Malaysia, and its success is proven by the program’s alumni who have gone on to hold high positions in various local and multinational companies.

Present to give a briefing on the UMPSA-HKA Dual Degree Program was Prof. Dr.-Ing. Robert Weis, a flying professor from Hochschule Karlsruhe - University of Applied Sciences.

Also delivering the briefing were Prof. Ts. Dr. Mohd Ruzaimi bin Mat Rejab, Director of the Center for Strategic Academic Collaboration, and Dr. Nur Aqilah binti Othman, Program Head of the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering.

Congratulations to the FTKEE engineering education research group consisting of Pn Nurul Wahidah Binti Arshad, Ts. Dr. Mohd. Shafie Bakar, Mrs. Nurulfadzilah Hasan, Ts. Dr. Rohana Abdul Karim, and Ts. Dr. Yasmin Abdul Wahab.

They successfully won the GOLD AWARD and were named recipients of the SPECIAL AWARD ENGINEERING EDUCATION at the 6th International Innovative Practices in Higher Education Expo 2024 (I-PHEX 2024), organized by the Society of Engineering Education Malaysia (SEEM), the Center of Engineering Education (CEE) UTM, and the International Federation of Engineering Education Societies (IFEES) held at UTM KL.

The project title is Electrifying Student Engagement in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with ClassPoint. This project has not only been successfully implemented by the team members but has also been applied by FTKEE UMPSA lecturers and several lecturers from outside UMPSA. It received very positive feedback from both students and lecturers.

On 20th September 2024, 35 students, consisting of the Student Representative Council (MPP) members and club presidents from MJI, visited FTKEE UMPSA.

The main objective was to establish a collaborative relationship between MJI and UMPSA and improve leadership and management within the Student Representative Council through benchmarking program sessions.

The visit was coordinated by the UMPSA student representative council, supervised by Deputy President 2, Aniq Zamzamy bin Sibron. The hour-long visit included a tour of the teaching and learning facilities available at FTKEE.

Hari Malaysia yang diraikan setiap 16 September merupakan lambang perpaduan seluruh rakyat Malaysia bagi memperingati pembentukan negara Malaysia.

The Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technology (FTKEE) conducted a workshop from September 10-12, 2024, at A Famosa Resort, Melaka, aimed at strengthening the organization. The session began with an ice-breaking activity to foster relationships among faculty members. Special participation from Associate Professor Dr. Muhammad Ashraf Bin Fauri @ Fauzi, Director of the Strategic Management Division, shared insights on UMPSA's latest achievements, focusing on building a dynamic and holistic organization.

Through the Team Building and Strengthening module, participants were equipped with essential leadership, teamwork, and effective communication skills, which are crucial for creating synergy in the workplace. The telematch activities also fostered a spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork among the participants.
