As part of the course BVI3125 – System Integration Design, a group of 30 final-year students from the Bachelor of Industrial Electronic Automation Technology (BVI) program participated in an academic visit to BI Technologies Corporation Sdn. Bhd., a subsidiary of TT Electronics.
The visit aimed to provide students with first-hand exposure to the real working environment within the automation industry, while also strengthening their understanding of system integration concepts. Additionally, it helped them gain deeper insights into their upcoming Work-Based Learning (WBL) assignments that will soon take place within the industry.
Accompanying the students were BVI lecturers including the Head of Program, Ir. Mohamad Rahimi Bin Mohamed Rodzi, Mr. Amran Bin Abdul Hadi, and Ts. Dr. Md Rizal Bin Othman, who provided continuous support and guidance throughout the visit.
During the session, students had the opportunity to observe automation technologies and systems in action within a real production environment. They also engaged with industry professionals, gaining valuable insights into industry practices and expectations.
This experience not only broadened the students’ perspectives on real-world challenges and requirements, but also boosted their confidence and technical understanding in the field of automation technology.
Congratulations to all the students and lecturers involved! May this experience serve as a crucial stepping stone toward professional development and career excellence in the automation industry.
