Language Meets Robotics: Associate Professor Ir. Ts. Dr. Mohd Zamri Bin Ibrahim Presents Cutting-Edge Tech at Microsoft Malaysia

Assoc. Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Mohd Zamri Ibrahim has been invited as a Keynote Speaker for the NextGen EDU Cloud and AI Day organized by Microsoft Malaysia and Enfrasys Solutions that was successfully held yesterday! In his presentation "Controlling Robots with Language: Leveraging Azure Cloud Services," Dr. Zamri demonstrated groundbreaking work that enables human language commands to control robotic systems through Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Azure Cloud infrastructure.
His technical demonstration showcased how Azure OpenAI Model 4o interprets natural language instructions and converts them to structured JSON commands that can control devices - from simple LED commands to more complex applications in education, assisted living, and remote inspection.
