Kementerian Pendidikan (KPM) baru-baru ini mengumumkan pembelajaran kecerdasan buatan (AI) akan dilaksanakan seawal peringkat sekolah rendah menjelang jendela persekolahan 2027.
Pengumuman dan rancangan pelaksanaan ini dilihat sebagai antara usaha menyambut hasrat kerajaan untuk memperkasakan kesedaran rakyat terhadap teknologi AI menerusi program 'AI untuk Rakyat'.
Bagaimanapun, langkah agresif ini mengundang reaksi dan persepsi bercampur baur baik dalam kalangan pendidik, ibu bapa dan masyarakat mengenai sejauh mana dan bagaimana pelaksanaan kurikulum pembelajaran AI akan diterapkan kepada murid.
Apakah dilema dan cabaran bakal dihadapi pemegang taruh sekiranya inisiatif ini dilaksanakan dan bagaimana hendak mengatasi kemungkinan ada menjadi mangsa akibat perancangan separa masak dan pelaksanaan tidak mengambil pandangan serta pendekatan pelbagai pihak.

A briefing on the Bachelor of Technology TVET Program was presented by UMPSA. The academic programs to be offered include Oil and Gas Facility Maintenance; and Bachelor of Technology in Electrical and Electronic Facility Maintenance, as well as a briefing on Work Based Learning (WBL).
Also present at the meeting were the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Engineering UMS, Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Mohd Kamaruddin Abd Hamid representing the Dean of FKJ, Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Ismail Saad, Director of the UMS Quality Assurance Center, Prof. Ir. Ts. Dr. Zainal Zakaria, and Director of the UMS Center for Academic Development and Excellence, Dr. Denis Andrew D. Lajium.
Dr. Noram Irwan Ramli, Director of the UMPSA Academic Innovation and Competitiveness Center, was also present.

The Industrial Visit lecture by FYF Engineering Sdn Bhd at the Faculty of Electrical & Electronic Engineering Technology, UMPSA Pekan, played a vital role in providing various advantages, especially in the context of education and professional development. This exposure involves:

A delegation of 16 members from EEES, FTKEE UMPSA visited FTKE, UTEM for an academic visit and to establish a connection between the two student clubs of the EEES and e-TESA faculties.
After an introductory session in the morning, we were taken on a tour of the FTKEE UTEM laboratories. In the afternoon, a benchmarking meeting was held where both clubs exchanged ideas on management practices and activities at their respective locations. Several suggestions for organizing joint activities between the two clubs in the future were also discussed.
The visit concluded with remarks from the Deputy Dean of Student Development and Alumni (DDSDA) of FTKE UTEM, Ts. Dr. Muhammad Sharil Yahya. Also present was the advisor of e-TESA, Ts. Aminurrashid Noordin.

The UMPSA Publisher Tinta Hikmah event, organized by the University Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Publisher, was celebrated with great enthusiasm today at the Astaka Hall, UMPSA Gambang Campus.
This inaugural Wisdom Ink event aimed to celebrate 150 talented and promising publishing professionals in the field of writing, with several of their works having successfully received national awards.
One of the highlighted books, "Digital Competency for Media Literacy," authored by The Reading Makchixx, was honored by UMPSA Publisher at the Wisdom Ink event.

The event, officiated by the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic Development) Professor Ts. Dr. Kamal bin Yusoh, was attended by approximately 200 guests, including both internal and external lecturers of UMPSA, as well as university staff.
During the event, a total of 26 book titles from 2023 were launched, along with 35 awards, 15 commendations, and two employee awards.
The training session held was aimed at providing knowledge and skills to FTKEE lecturers on the application of ClassPoint. ClassPoint is an instructional aid application designed to enhance student focus and engagement during learning sessions.
The use of digital and interactive teaching tools not only captures students' attention but also provides a more immersive and meaningful learning experience.
ClassPoint offers its unique features by combining several functions that previously required multiple applications into one. It integrates seamlessly with PowerPoint, a commonly used tool by lecturers during teaching sessions. Moreover, it can be utilized for both online and face-to-face teaching settings.
The opening session was also attended by Associate Professor Dr. Mohd Anwar Bin Zawawi, Deputy Dean (Academic & Student Affairs).
