This programme is based on a mutual agreement between Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP) and University of Nice Sophia Antipolis (UNS) securing the framework of the double PhD programme. At the end of this programme, the PhD student shall receive two PhD degrees, awarded by UMP and UNS. This framework will produce high impact research collaborations and knowledge sharing between two universities, while producing high quality and competitive students.
Candidates should have a Master Degree in relevant studies from the University or Institute recognized by the University Senate or an equivalent professional qualification in a related field recognized by the Senate.
Candidates should have a good command of English equivalent to IELTS (Academic) Band 5.0, TOEFL* paper based 500 points (for international students only) and MUET Band 4 (for local students only).

The programme takes three years to complete. The candidates are required to spend at least six (6) months at UMP and at least one (1) year at UNS.

The tuition fees at UNS are based on regular French university fees, which is approximately 600 euros. This fees cover course expenses for one (1) year.
