Strategic Industry–University Collaboration: Insights from FTKEE Industrial Advisory Panel

The Faculty of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Technology (FTKEE), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), successfully held its Industrial Advisory Panel (IAP) Meeting from 13–15 August at Dorsett, Putrajaya.

The main objective of this session was to gather expert insights from industry professionals on curriculum design, programme structures, and their alignment with current job market demands. During the discussions, valuable feedback and recommendations for improvement were shared, including opportunities for strategic collaborations in industrial training, research projects, knowledge exchange, and initiatives to enhance graduate employability.

It is hoped that the outcomes of this meeting will further strengthen the ties between the university and industry, ultimately producing graduates who are relevant, competent, and prepared to face the challenges of future technologies.
