International Engagement of FTKEE UMPSA Lecturer
On 9 October 2025, Associate Professor Ts. Dr. Mohd Herwan Sulaiman was invited by APTIKOM Indonesia to deliver a keynote speech at The 10th International Conference on Informatics and Computing (ICIC2025), themed “Building a Resilient IT Workforce: AI-Driven Cybersecurity for National and Global Challenges.”
The prestigious conference was held in person at Novotel Hotel, Lampung, Indonesia, and brought together researchers and industry practitioners from various international institutions. In his keynote address titled “From Population-Based to Cognitive Inspired Optimization for Adaptive AI Systems,” Dr. Herwan highlighted innovative approaches to developing adaptive AI systems through metaheuristic algorithms and cognitive-inspired optimization techniques.
This participation not only elevated UMPSA’s research visibility on the global stage but also strengthened strategic collaborations with Indonesian universities under the APTIKOM network.
