FTKEE UMPSA Participates in SEMICON Southeast Asia 2026

A total of 50 students from the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology (FTKEE), Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), participated in the Chip-On-Wheels & TalentConnect (SEMICON Southeast Asia 2026) programme on 7 May 2026 at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC), Kuala Lumpur.

The delegation, consisting of students from the BTS3423 Computer Architecture and BTS3453 Operating System courses, was accompanied by two lecturers, Dr. Syukran Hakim bin Norazman and Mr. Ikhwan Hafiz bin Muhamad.

Among the main highlights of the visit were industry exposure and opportunities for direct engagement with semiconductor technology industry players through talent engagement sessions and professional networking activities. Students also participated in interactive activities, attended talks by industry representatives, and explored opportunities to apply for jobs or industrial training placements at booths of leading semiconductor companies.

This programme reflects the faculty’s strategic initiative to develop competent graduates who are well-prepared to meet the demands of the rapidly evolving global industry. It is hoped that this exposure will inspire future FTKEE graduates to continue striving for excellence.
