Dean’s Award & Performance Excellence Ceremony FTKEE 2025
The Dean’s Award and Performance Excellence Ceremony FTKEE 2025 marked the third appreciation event organized at the faculty level, held to recognize students who demonstrated outstanding academic excellence throughout one academic year. The selection of award recipients was based on students’ Grade Point Average (GPA) achievements for each semester, reflecting their continuous effort, discipline, and commitment to academic pursuit.
The ceremony also featured an Outstanding Student Address delivered by Nurul Zahirah Syamimi Binti Zulkifli, a Bachelor of Technology student in Electrical System Maintenance, who represented the aspirations and spirit of excellence among FTKEE students.
Although initially unable to attend due to official duties in Kuala Lumpur, the presence of Prof. Ts. Dr. Hamzah bin Ahmad later in the event provided strong motivation to the award recipients. In his address, he expressed his hope that students would continue to strive for excellence, eventually becoming among the main award recipients at the Convocation Ceremony, while also serving as an inspiration to their peers and developing holistically in terms of academics, character, and leadership.
The ceremony was attended by members of the faculty management and student representatives, including Dr. Suliana Binti Ab Ghani, Deputy Dean of Student Affairs and Alumni; Ts. Dr. Rohana Binti Abdul Karim, EEES Advisor; Dr. Nur Aqilah Binti Othman, Head of the Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Electronics) Programme; Ir. Mohamad Rahimi Bin Mohamed Rodzi, Head of the Bachelor of Industrial Electronic Automation Technology Programme; Ms. Nor Fadzillah Binti Zulkipli, Executive Officer; Ms. Zuryati Binti Zol, Faculty Manager; Ms. Nor Nashua Farhani Binti Abdul Ghaffar, Assistant Executive Officer of FTKEE; and Muhammad Farris Haeikal Bin Nazri, President of EEES for the 2025/2026 session.
Throughout the ceremony, a total of 408 students received the Dean’s Award, 21 students were awarded the Performance Excellence Award, and 30 students were recognized as Outstanding Students—an achievement that reflects the growing culture of excellence among FTKEE students.
Congratulations and appreciation are also extended to Charisma Emerald Sendi Anak Brendan Ullo and the entire FTKEE Appreciation Ceremony Organizing Committee for the successful and meaningful execution of the event.
