Technical Workshop Series: Programming Using Arduino for Senior Design Project I (SDP1) and Final Thesis & Technical Paper Writing for Senior Design Project II (SDP2)
On June 6, 2024, FTKEE UMPSA organized a series of technical workshops tailored for students undertaking Senior Design Project I (SDP1) and Senior Design Project II (SDP2). The SDP1 workshop, held at the STEM Laboratory, provided students with hands-on exposure to proper Arduino programming techniques. The goal was to ensure that students could develop their project Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) effectively, minimizing errors during fabrication processes. This session emphasized maintaining high-quality project development that meets the standards of Bachelor of Engineering Technology education.
Meanwhile, the SDP2 workshop, conducted in the Ibnu Sina Meeting Room, focused on equipping students with the skills to write their Final Thesis and Technical Papers. The session detailed proper formatting and adherence to established guidelines to ensure that student submissions met high academic and professional standards. The workshop aimed to align the quality of written outputs with the rigorous expectations of a Bachelor’s-level engineering technology program.
These workshops reflect FTKEE's commitment to enhancing students’ technical proficiency and academic writing capabilities, paving the way for excellence in both project implementation and scholarly documentation.
