Series of Final Thesis and Technical Paper Writing Workshops for Senior Design Project II (SDP2) Students at FTKEE UMPSA

The Implementation of this program is to provide students with exposure on proper writing of final thesis and technical paper according to the Guidelines and Formatting Set in the SDP.

a. Objectives:

1. Provide Exposure:

   • To give students a depth understanding of the proper methods for writing their final thesis and technical paper according to the guidelines and formatting prescribed in the Senior Design Project (SDP) course.

2. Ensure Quality:

   • To ensure that the quality of the final thesis and technical papers produced by students is high, equivalent to the standard expected at the Bachelor of Engineering Technology.

b. Series of SDP Writing Workshops:

Slot 1: Technical Paper

• Presenter: Associate Professor Dr. Mohd Herwan bin Sulaiman
• Content: This slot cover the essential elements of writing a technical paper, including structuring, formatting, and presenting research findings effectively.

Slot 2: Thesis Chapters 3, 4, & 5

• Presenter: Ts. Dr. Mohammad Fadhil bin Abas
• Content: This slot focus on writing the main chapters of the thesis, specifically Chapters 3 (Methodology), 4 (Results and Discussion), and 5 (Conclusion). The session provide detailed guidance on the content and structure required for each chapter.
