An Instrumentation Lab from FTKEE UMP combines innovative hardware with an online KALAM and lesson software libraries.

In this laboratory, students learn the necessary cognitive and practical skills for many electrical & electronics engineering occupations involving electrical or electronic systems.

The PID controller training experimental setup was basically designed based on real set that has been and is being applied in continuous process plant especially in chemical industrial fields. The basic idea of PID controller training unit is actually to simulate the real plant by injecting various input based on current/voltage input.

If for example engineering student could manage the some simulations using this unit using several process control scheme using PID, we could partially ensure that the outcome of the training could correlate the capability of the engineering students that undergo this training are competent enough to handle process control plant at actual plant.
