The Electrical and Electronic Engineering Society (EEES) proposed the FTKEE Sports Day (SUKEE2024) on May 4 and 5, 2024. Various types of sports competitions will be held, including traditional and modern sports.
Associate Professor Dr. Hamdan Bin Daniyal, the Dean of FTKEE, graced the opening ceremony of the FTKEE Sports Day 2024, along with the Heads of Program from FTKEE. The opening ceremony featured a tug-of-war activity. Traditional sports were held on the first day.
This event encourages widespread participation from various groups of students. It provides an opportunity for those who may not be interested in modern sports to participate and experience the joy and health benefits of sports.
Furthermore, the implementation promotes the health and well-being of students. By providing various types of sports, students are given the opportunity to engage in enjoyable and beneficial physical activities. This helps to reduce academic pressure and enhance a healthy lifestyle balance among students.
Additionally, the implementation fosters camaraderie and unity. Sports serve as a great platform to develop camaraderie and unity among students. By including various sports from different cultures and backgrounds, this encourages understanding among students and fosters strong relationships.
The hope for this sports event is that it becomes a holistic benefit to all students, raising awareness of the importance of an active lifestyle, and strengthening social bonds and community spirit among the students of the faculty. With a variety of sports options, it is hoped that each student can find their own interests and make participation in sports a valuable experience."
