SMK Mersing Visits FTKEE UMPSA for Early Career Path Exposure

PEKAN, August 29, 2024 - A group of 40 students from Forms 2 to 4, along with four accompanying teachers from SMK Mersing, visited the Faculty of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Technology (FTKEE) at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA), Pekan. The students, from various academic streams, received academic briefings from Dr. Mohd Helmi Suid and Dr. Nur Aqilah Othman. Associate Professor Dr. Mohd Anwar Zawawi, Deputy Dean (Academic and Student Affairs) of FTKEE, was also present.

According to Rapidah Amiruddin, SMK Mersing's Guidance and Counseling Teacher, the visit aimed to provide early career path exposure to the students. Before concluding their visit, the students had the opportunity to tour faculty laboratories, including the Wiring and Robotics Labs.
